Mississippi (MS1A) utilizes the following reports for monthly reporting measures (reported to state library Board of Commissioners):
  • Patron Status Summary Report - to capture current patrons, batch scheduled to run at 6 am on the first day of the month to capture the previous month's activity
  • Circulation Report - to capture all duplication and tracked items
  • Patron Reg and Resume Report - to measure new patrons
  • Patron Stopping Service Report - to measured patrons discontinuing service
  • Blocked Patron Report - to monitor blocked accounts
  • Inactive Patron Report - to monitor patrons who fall within the year of inactivity threshold; monitored monthly to make inactive patron check in process more manageable for staff; patrons are contacted/reviewed and are determined to be deceased, suspended, or remaining active.
  • New Patron Activity Report - to check in with new patrons and ensure they are comfortable with the service

Periodically:
  • Statistical Report - run to aid in measuring success of outreach efforts; also to focus new outreach efforts in low saturation locations
  • Patron Summary by Location - also used for outreach efforts; utilized in discussion with MS Public Library System Directors
