At the February 11, 2026 KDAC meeting, James began his term as chair and the group reviewed major development updates, particularly progress on single sign-on integrations. Keycloak is now tested and functional in Michigan, Okta is working well in Virginia, and IBM Verify posed challenges, with these updates included in release 7.8.32 for early adopters; Entra integration may be explored next. Several KLAS issues were addressed, including SSL certificate auto-import failures, security permission gaps, Patron Census Notice bugs, and improved handling of token expiration to ensure rapid logout in security-sensitive situations. Upcoming work will focus on infrastructure improvements such as client timeouts and enhanced reporting, along with fixes and enhancements to PIMMS, including better error visibility, email validation options, and interface filtering improvements. The group also discussed email workflow challenges, intelligent barcoding inquiries from NLS, and planned to continue prioritizing urgent client-requested enhancements ahead of the next meeting on March 11.
