Looking for suggestions

We have a number of hymns in our catalog; each is listed individually as one volume, even though each is really one or two pages at most.  It doesn't pay to make books of our own "anthologies" because we only send specific sets that patrons ask for and create custom booklets of several hymns (besides, we're always adding more hymns, as they are requested). 

I'm looking for a way around adding individual hymns as requests, since they're not actual volumes and it throws our circulation numbers off.  I'm looking for a way besides using "Add Has Had."  Any ideas would be appreciated.
