Do you send Braille titles that your library has transcribed to NLS? Are you including the transcriber's name? Here's a trick to make your cataloging a bit easier.
Instead of going to the MARC tab and entering, for example: "=511 0\$aTranscribed by Linda McGovern." for every record, you can set things up so that the transcriber's name in the narrator heading field will be saved to the 511 tag (instead of the default 508 tag).

Go to View > Administration > Heading Maintenance and then navigate to the Narrator headings. In the bottom half select the MARC tab next to the Simple tab, and then click Add new Record (Ctrl+N).
Subtype: 511
Marc Data: 0\$aTranscribed by Linda McGovern.
Full Desc: Transcribed by Linda McGovern.

Save (Ctrl+S) your new narrator heading. In the catalog when you are creating or updating your braille record use the Select Headings (down arrow button) next to Narrator and find then select your "Transcribed by Linda McGovern." heading.
