The Network title The Nurse by Jenna Kernan had the wrong BookID when it was loaded into KLAS. In BARD it is now DBC28495 but the KlasID is DBC28595.
To fix, go to DBC28595, then Tools>Change KlasID and enter DBC28495. Once that is done use the CNLS source to reload the MARC record for it found here: klasusers.com/knowledgebase/marc-record-corrections-2026

I'm confused. What does this mean "use the CNLS source to reload the MARC record for it"? I should note that I manually added the correct record for DBC28595 from Voyager. The bad record (DBC28495) has an eDoc but the correct record (DBC28595) does not. How should I proceed? Do I just delete the eDoc on the bad record and then reissue/delete that record into the good one and hope that an eDoc will generate? (We are a Gutenberg library.)

Dan:
If you pulled the record from Voyager, that is the same thing as what Katherina said, you just did it a different way.

Dan,
DBC28495 is the correct record and should be made active (your edoc is correct) and 595 is the bad record.
The reason I recommended the steps in the order that I did was to avoid the necessity of then having to withdraw/delete the faulty DBC28595 record. Especially since I suspect (and hope) the actual 28595 will be in February's Network file. Once a record has circulated you can't delete the edoc. Since you've got both records then yes do the reissue/delete.
The CNLS MARC source is configured to overwrite just about all of the MARC tags while the NLS MARC source usually keeps the title and a few other things (like 690 subjects).
