Award Information:
Keystone wishes to recognize the support that volunteers and staff provide to their libraries each year. We do so with the Julie Klauber Award. Each library may nominate one staff member or volunteer. Nominated individuals should: - Work with KLAS in their daily job functions.
- Show an outstanding service to their library and the community in the spirit of Julie Klauber during his/her time with the library.
- Appreciate and benefit from attending the KLAS Users' Conference.
The selected Julie Klauber Award Recipient will receive a trip1 to the 2011 KLAS Users' Conference in Raleigh, NC, April 12-14, 2011. The finalists will be determined by a selection committee2 and the KLAS libraries will vote to determine the winner. Post this one page flyer about the award on your staff bulletin board or in your break room: Nomination Form: Please use the Julie Klauber Award Nomination Form to nominate a staff member or volunteer and explain why your nominee should be selected. Nomination Deadline: Nominations are due by Friday, January 28, 2011. 1 A trip includes one round trip coach ticket on Delta Airlines from the recipient's nearby major city to Raleigh, NC; hotel expenses for a single occupancy for April 12-14, Conference registration fees provided by Keystone Systems, Inc. and meals provided by the conference. If the recipient needs/desires a travel companion, such a person may be accommodated at Kay Holloman's discretion.
