Conference Registration: Click here for information about conference registration. Hands-on Training Registration: Registration for Hands-on Training Sessions is now available. You must register for the conference before you register for Hands-on Training. Beginning in mid-March we will place those who signed up for Hands-on Training in classes according to their stated preferences. We will contact you to let you know the sessions in which you have been enrolled. Location: For the 2010 KLAS Users' Conference, we will enjoy the southern hospitality of Columbus, Georgia. Click here to read more about the host library and local conference chair. Dates: Conference sessions begin Tuesday, April 20 at 9:00 AM and end Thursday, April 22 at 1:00 PM. An overview schedule including general and breakout session information is now available for download. Please note that this schedule is subject to change.
Accommodations: The conference hotel is the Columbus Marriott. The conference rate, hotel address and phone number, and a link to an online reservation form are available in the 2010 KLAS Users' Conference Accommodations Article. Dining: We have created a listing restaurants and businesses near the hotel in downtown Columbus and another with dining establishments and other businesses near the library. In each article, you will find a Google Map showing the location of the airport, library, hotel and restaurants. We also have included the address and phone number for each restaurant and a link to it's website or Google listing. Ground Transportation: There is a complimentary shuttle available from the Columbus Airport to the hotel if it is arranged in advance. You can also arrange a shuttle from the Atlanta airport to the hotel for $59.00 round-trip per person. Click here for detailed ground transportation. The Columbus Marriott is 3.5 miles from the Columbus Public Library where conference sessions are occurring. There will be a shuttle running each day from the hotel to the library in the morning before sessions start and from the library to the hotel after sessions end. A shuttle schedule is now available. For transportation at any other time please call Yellow Cab of Columbus at (706) 322-1616.
