Perkins Braille and Talking Book Library receives Network Library of the Year Award PDF E-mail

Keystone Systems would like to congratulate Kim Charlson, Director, Perkins Talking Book and Braille Library, and her staff for being selected as the 2008 Network Library of the Year award by National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS).

Kim Charlson, Perkins School for the Blind President Steven M. Rothstein, and Commissioner of the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners Irving Zangwill represented the library at an award ceremony Friday, June 19 in Washington, D.C.  Congressman Ed Markey of Massachusetts spoke during the ceremony and will introduce a resolution in support of the Braille & Talking Book Library before the U.S. Congress.
