The 2017 KLAS Users' Conference offers attendees three days of intensive networking and training opportunities with Keystone employees and other library administrators and staff who use KLAS. Why should you attend the 2017 KLAS Users' Conference?

Five reasons to visit Atlanta for the 2017 KLAS Users' Conferenece.

Host: The Georgia Library for Accessible Statewide Services (GLASS) will host the 2017 KLAS Users' Conference. GLASS is partnering with Tools for Life and will use their facilities just south of the Georgia Tech Campus. All conference sessions will be held at the Tools for Life / AMAC building in Atlanta's Midtown neighborhood.

Dates: A pre-conference with hands-on KLAS training will occur Monday, March 20.Conference sessions begin the morning of Tuesday, March 21 and end the afternoon of Thursday, March 23. A confernece agenda and a day-by-day overview schedule and are now available.

Breakout Session Registration: Pre-conference and breakout session information is now available and the registration form is live.  You must be registered for the confernence before you register for breakout sessions.

Registration fees & deadlines:

  • Early Bird: $120.00 / person (on or before 1/6/2017)
  • Full Registration: $145.00 / person (1/7/2017 – 2/20/2017)
  • Late Registration: $170.00 / person (2/21/2017 – onsite)

Conference Format: Each day attendees will have the chance to network with librarians who use KLAS, attend general sessions and choose from different types of breakout sessions including Workshops, Seminars, and Birds-of-a-Feather Discussions. The 2017 KLAS Users' Conference Agenda is now available for download. A day-by-day overview schedule is also available for your convenience. 

Accommodations: The conference hotel is the Regency Suites (957 West Peachtree Street) in Atlanta's Midtown neighborhood. The conference rate is $138.00 + tax for single rooms / $148.00 + tax for double. The conference rate will be honored for two days before and after the conference. Getting to the Hotel: Atlanta's MARTA Orange and Red line trains run from the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) to the Midtown stop which is next door to the Regency Suites. Gettiing from the Hotel to the Conference Location: The free Georgia Tech Trolley stops at the Midtown MARTA station next door to the Regency Suites and has a stop at the Student Center one block from the Tools for Life building where conference sessions will occur.
